Paulina holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University. She received extensive clinical training working with individuals, couples, families, and children across various backgrounds and presenting problems. 

Prior to her experience at Northwestern University, Paulina attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Consumer Behavior. After college, Paulina worked in marketing across consumer packaged goods, luxury and lifestyle brands. With a unique background in marketing and over six years of experience in understanding consumer behavior, Paulina brings a fresh perspective as a career changer to her practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Paulina’s journey into marriage and family therapy was driven by a deep passion for exploring the insights and motivations behind human behavior, which naturally led her to this fulfilling career.

Through years of personal growth and self-discovery, Paulina gained a comprehensive understanding of the various stressors that impact our self-esteem, relationships, and overall well-being. Paulina recognizes the complex interplay of relational, environmental, demographic, systemic, familial, biological, psychological, and physical factors that shape our personal and professional lives. She employs an integrated approach grounded in honesty, empathy and warmth that draws from her training in various models, including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. 

Paulina is committed to creating a safe and supportive space for her clients to explore their unique challenges, foster resiliency and growth, and help develop the tools necessary for lasting change. Paulina believes in the power of genuine connection and collaboration and is dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate personal and professional challenges. 

Paulina has experience working with clients with Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Trauma, Substance Use, Adjustment and Life Transitions, Family of Origin, and Infidelity. Her specific areas of focus and interest include life and career transitions, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationships, family business, and family conflict.

In her free time, Paulina enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, cooking and baking, and enjoying Lake Michigan on and off the water.
