Karolina Jasko

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Karolina is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) that enjoys working with individuals and couples. Karolina received her Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). She then completed her graduate education and training at the Family Institute at Northwestern University, where she received her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Although she works with a wide range of challenges, she carries a particular interest in working with adults that present with relational issues, work stress, life transitions, and wanting to improve self-worth/self-compassion, as well as being passionate about helping couples looking to increase intimacy, and better understand one another through their communication and conflict resolution.

Karolina’s approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and warm. It’s important for Karolina to create a space where you feel comfortable addressing your emotions and vulnerabilities. Karolina’s clinical training is rooted in an Integrative Systemic Therapy (IST) approach meaning she will draw from different models to fit your specific needs. The models she uses most frequently include: Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

When not in the therapeutic space, Karolina is with friends and family exploring new restaurants and hotspots, staying active, but also binge-watching reality TV. You name it… she’s seen it! She’s also a HUGE dog lover, so your beloved pet is always welcome in the tele-therapy space.
